Victoria Flights - A short guide. Capital to British Columbia, Canada, Victoria has become a bustling tourist destination welcoming nearly 4 million visitors a year. The local economy benefits from over one billion tourism dollars. On the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria is home to Ogden Point terminal, a port for cruise ships. In 2007 the city co-hosted the FIFA U-20 World Cup at Royal Athletic Park. This is also the venue for the Bastion Square Grand Prix Criterium, a road cycling race.
