New Zealand was founded in the year eighteen forty, formed in an official document to settle the disputes between the European and indiginous Maori peoples. In more recent times the cultural identity of both sides have been painstakingly preserved and run side by side practically trouble free. The national sport of rugby has a unifying effect in bringing both sides together, being particularly successful on the world scene, New Zealanders are extremely proud of their national team.

New Zealand is like an adventure capital for the worlds adrenaline junkies. Having a variety of sports activities to partake in, from extreme bunjy jumping to awe inspiring helicopter trips and from swimming with loveable dolphins to high speed boat rides. The most famous cities are Wellington and New Zealand in the North and the city of Christchurch more toward the South.

The official spoken languages in New Zealand are English and Maori. English, however, is the most widely utilised out of the two. New Zealand is a very safe destination to visit and there are no particular health risks associated with this destination. UK citizens have an agreement with the government that entitles them to free emergency healthcare whilst in the country. If going for adventure purpose, be sure that you have adequate insurance to cover any unfortunate incidents.
