More history can be found in Ciutadella, the island's capital until the Turk's attack in the 1600s. Take a journey through prehistoric times at one of the archaeological site or venture out to the beach and come upon caves, coves and tempting blue seas. The Minorcan countryside is breathtaking and can lead you to the Martello Tower overlooking the sea, Talati de Dalt with fascinating archaeological finds, or the holiday resort of Gala Galdana.
