Albania Flights - A short guide.

The Balkan prized country of Albania, lying in the areas of the bluish Adriatic and Ionian Seas, is quickly changing into a popular vacationers spot due to its undamaged culture that’s yet to be touched by the prospect of globalization.

Albania is known for many historical greats including Mother Theresa and 15th century hero Skanderbeg. Until recent years (1992), it was a totalitarian Communist government but despite the fact that the Iron Curtain fell, Albanian officials decided to keep to themselves. It’s now run as an alliance government with a cooperative democracy.

Albanian officials and countrymen often brag about their excellent beaches, snow covered mountains, forests, lakes and rivers and about how they are the most friendly and generous European nation. Visitors can also see the UNESCO World Heritage Site Butrint, which is an archeological phenomenon in the world that allows people to get peeks into a vast array of cultures. These cultures include the Mediterranean civilization and the cultures of the Bronze Age such as the Byzantine, Greek, Ottoman, Roman and Venetian. Visitors not impressed with that may like the Butrint because of where it’s located… atop a cliff looking down at Corfu.

Vacationers can look at the beautiful sites of Tirana, Albania’s capital city, from up high at Mt. Dajt. They can also enjoy sampling different conventional Albanian foods, which many can be tracked back the Turkish culture, at any one of the sidewalk cafés.

In south Albania, the city of Saranda is known for its extraordinary beaches and colorful springs and Shkodra offers up its Rozafa castle for visitors to see.
